Workday® Community, at its core, is a place for collaboration and knowledge-deepening. Customers from all over the world have access to solution ideas, best practices, and even user groups. Whether you’re new to or a veteran of Workday Community, you’ve likely found that using this tool can be frustrating at times. This blog dives into some tips on how to make your search on Community easier.
Troubleshooting
If something isn’t working, you’re in luck! That last statement may sound antithetical but trust me, it is very likely that someone else has had the same problem. Look for the answer in the Questions content type.
At the top navigation menu, click on Get Help then click on Troubleshooting Resources:
Afterwards, select the Explore Articles on Community within the Workday Community Articles section:
On the left-hand side, within Content Type, expand Show more:
Then, select Question:
Once selected, use the search bar to type relevant words to describe the question.
Research Configuration
When reading about a subject to configure, it may be helpful to review Concept articles about the functionality at hand.
From the top menu, select Products and then the functional area e.g. Human Capital Management:
Within the Learn section, navigate to Documentation:
Follow the menu path to the item you want to configure - Administrator Guide > Human Capital Management > Worker Information...
